เป็นคนไทย “คนแรก” ที่สำเร็จปริญญาตรีพร้อมกัน ๓ สาขาในปีเดียวกัน ขณะเป็นสามเณร
เปรียญธรรม ๙ ประโยค สำนักเรียนวัดราชบุรณะ กรุงเทพมหานคร
พุทธศาสตรบัณฑิต มหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัย
ศึกษาศาสตรบัณฑิต มหาวิทยาลัยสุโขทัยธรรมาธิราช
เนื่องจากสอบได้เปรียญธรรม ๙ ประโยค ขณะเป็นสามเณร
ความทราบถึงพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว
จึงได้รับพระมหากรุณาธิคุณ โปรดพระราชทานให้รับการ “อุปสมบท” เป็น “นาคหลวง”
ในพระบรมราชูปถัมภ์ ณ พระอุโบสถ วัดพระศรีรัตนศาสดาราม ในพระบรมมหาราชวัง
เมื่อวันที่ ๓๐ มิถุนายน พุทธศักราช ๒๕๓๓ โดยมีสมเด็จพระธีรญาณมุนี (ธีร์ ปุณฺณโก ป.ธ. ๙)
วัดปทุมคงคา เป็นสมเด็จพระอุปัชฌาย์ สมเด็จพระมหาธีราจารย์ (นิยม ฐานิสฺสโร ป.ธ. ๙)
วัดชนะสงคราม เป็นสมเด็จพระกรรมวาจาจารย์ และสมเด็จพระมหารัชมังคลาจารย์ (่ช่วง วรปุญฺโญ ป.ธ. ๙)
วัดปากน้ำ เป็นสมเด็จพระอนุสาวนาจารย์ ได้รับฉายาว่า “อุทิตเมธี”
เป็น “สามเณรเปรียญธรรม ๙ ประโยค” ลำดับที่ ๓๖ แห่งกรุงรัตนโกสินทร์
ลาสิกขาไปเรียนต่อที่สหรัฐอเมริกา ในปี ๒๕๓๖ โดยเปลี่ยนสาขาไปร่ำเรียนทางบริหารธุรกิจ
